Decode Wap-Proxy
Automatically Translates Internet Pages into WAP Format (8.3.2000)

agency Decode and VTT Information Technology announce new WAP solution
at E-MEDIA fair in Helsinki
Decode Oy and
VTT Information Technology (VTT, Technical Research Centre of Finland)
have developed Decode WAP-Proxy, which provides an easy way to create
a WAP service. Decode Wap-Proxy translates the html automatically
into wml format, thus, enabling a user to access Internet pages
with a WAP device.
Decode today
announced Decode Wap-Proxy at the E-MEDIA trade fair on digital
media to be held in Helsinki on March 8-9. Decode offers this product
as part of its Pl@za Hosting service to Teamware Pl@za customers.
Decode Wap-Proxy
can be tested on a WAP device. The instructions for testing are
available on Decode’s web site, http://www.decode.net.
The service runs on GSM operator Radiolinja’s connections.
Decode Oy is
an affiliate of Teamware Group Oy, a Fujitsu Group company. Decode
is a new media agency established in 1997, employing twenty people.
