Teamware Pl@za
is now available for Windows 2000 (13.8.2001)
Teamware Group, a Fujitsu subsidiary,
announces today the availability of Teamware Pl@za® for Windows
2000 server environment. Previously Teamware Pl@za has only been
offered for Sun Solaris environment.
Teamware Pl@za is a set of ready-made
Internet services integrated into a Java based platform and used
for building interactive web sites. The new Windows edition will
meet the needs and requirements of the small and medium-sized companies.

offer a cost-efficient solution also for the SME’s traditionally
operating in the NT environment", says Eija Suikola,
Product Manager for Teamware Pl@za.
"The new edition is suitable for
those small and medium-sized companies that want to maintain their
Teamware Pl@za systems on their own servers. For those who are not
interested in maintaining their own systems Teamware Pl@za is offered
as a Teamware hosted ASP solution."
The Windows edition makes it possible
to integrate the awarded Meridio document management system with
Teamware Pl@za. Developed by Kainos in Northern Ireland Meridio
is a document and content management software that enables organizations
to manage documents of all types and formats (including e-mail,
faxes, letters and electric files) within one framework.
Being the native server environment
Sun Solaris will also in the future be the main platform for Teamware
Pl@za, because it can support larger systems with several hundred
simultaneous users.
