Teamware Group, a Fujitsu subsidiary, launches today the Teamware Office-Pl@za Integration, a complete, modular set of groupware applications complemented with Internet services enabling easy access to third generation interactive Web sites.

The Integration provides Teamware customers a genuinely interactive extranet solution, which makes it possible to access intranet services over the Internet.

By a single log-in into the interactive browser-based Teamware Pl@za portal, the user has access to everyday groupware tools and personalized Web services according to his/her access rights.

The features offered in the integrated system include e-mail, resource and event calendar, document management, discussion groups and interactive Web services such as interest groups and Interactive Business Cards. Besides the Teamware services, other tools, for example finance, logistics and sales applications, can be included in the system.

The look and feel of the user interface can be customized according to the specific customer requirements. The system utilizes a centralized administration service for registering of the users, their profiling and access rights without manual entry to several user databases. This guarantees automatic updating of information to all necessary areas of the system. Administration and content update is easy thanks to the ready-made update tools.
