Teamware Office 5.3 for Linux Now Shipping (6.6.2000)

Teamware Group has announced the final version of Teamware Office 5.3 for Linux platform. It is a ready-to-run groupware product with a customizable user interface and state-of-the-art communi-cations features. Teamware Office 5.3 for Linux is available as a single server package with 100 built-in user accounts for USD 1000.

Teamware Office 5.3 is now easy to install and get up and running quickly. It no longer needs Windows clients to set up the server. These functions can be performed using WebService tools as well as server tools which are run from the server console. Through the browser it is possible to create Groups, Libraries and Discussion Forums. It also includes nine languages to choose from.

Teamware Office 5.3 for Linux can be used on Linux distributions that use the Red Hat Package Manager for installing binary files. This is currently supported on Caldera Open Linux, Red Hat Linux, SuSE Linux and Turbo Linux.

The online payment system for purchasing Teamware Office 5.3 for Linux is provided by element 5. The company provides secure transactions for software sales, including serialized product delivery, payment and order processing, customer service and reporting.
