Introduction

Teamware Office is a standards based set of groupware applications that provides users with an easy way of carrying out their office tasks and communicating with each other. Teamware Office includes facilities for electronic mail, time and resource scheduling, discussions, document management and retrieval; it helps users find, view, analyze and act on information in a user-friendly and timely way. The facilities are designed to meet the needs of users, whether they are individuals in local or remote offices, or members of a team within an enterprise or external business partners. This document describes the packaging, licensing and pricing of Teamware Office 5.3 for Linux.

Teamware Office 5.3 for Linux is available as a single server package with 25 or 100 built-in user accounts. This basic offer is accompanied by two other basic packages, one for a 25-user and 90 day evaluation license and the other for subscribing to regular updates and maintenance releases.

Basic Product Package

One package is required for each Teamware Office 5.3 server, 25 or 100 user licenses are built in to the Basic Product Package.

A User License is needed for each account in the system Directory. Teamware Office offers a client-of-choice for users, in other words a User License covers the WebService usage with any browser as well as the use of standard client interfaces such as IMAP4 or POP3. In addition, the Teamware Office 5.3 native 32 bit Windows clients can be used if needed.

All of the Basic Product Packages have a serial number and activation key schema where the product can not be used before a correct license and activation key is entered into the system during or after the installation. License and activation key pairs are always unique, reusing or circulating the keys is a copyright infringement and will cause in-operability between system servers in the upcoming releases. The correct serial number and activation key pair are delivered with the Basic Product Package.

Up-to-Date Package

An Up-to-Date Package for Teamware Office 5.3 for Linux ensures regular updates and maintenance releases on the software.

It also gives access to the Teamware Solutions Database. This database has a broad range of documented Teamware product related incidents with corrective actions for Your immediate use. You are able to quickly find a solution to a problem situation or a question that You might have in mind. Username and password are required to access the information in the Solution Database.

Up-to-Date Package must be purchased at the same time as the products or at most two months after the product delivery. A 12 month Up-to-Date period starts at the date of product delivery. Renewed Up-to-Date contract starts automatically immediately after the expired contract period.
