functions. Teamware Office is a secure bridge between the merging

for Linux is an electronic bulletin board system for discussions
and information distribution. It provides intuitive access in grouped
information, Forum messages are linked into visual discussion chains.
The user starting a discussion may also close it or highlight the
most important messages in the discussion. Users may request notifications
of new messages attached to a particular discussion. Forums are
also protected by access control.
WebService
Teamware Office
modules can be accessed with standard web browsers via the WebService.
This service enables fixed WWW addressing for any Teamware Office
object over standard HTML templates making integration with other
web based systems as well as search engines easy.
The WebService
does not require a separate web server. The administrator can modify
the predefined HTML templates or create new ones. This enables a
complete redesign of the user interface if required.
Documents residing
in the Teamware environment can be accessed from the Web, so that
on one hand there is the centralized and secure documentation control,
and on the other hand as wide a distribution of the documents over
the Web as desired.
When appropriate,
the documents, calendars, discussions and messages residing in the
Teamware environment can also be made available for non-Teamware
users through the Web.
Administration

supports both centralized and distributed system and user administration.
System administrators can navigate in the topology of the system,
perform system management operations on selected components and
use the powerful scripting tools.
